  1. Come to sit in a comfortable cross-legged position. At first, keep your eyes open and focus on long deep breathing.

  2. When the timer first goes off, close your eyes and continue to focus on your breath.

  3. When the timer goes off again, bring your mind to a state of thoughtlessness.

  4. The timer will go off one more time. You can continue in your beautiful thoughtless state, or begin to play the mantra the mantra Chattr Chakkr Vartee. If you play the mantra, sink into it, feeling it reverberate into your heart.
