chopping HAR

  1. Put your hands in prayer pose with the thumbs crossed (right thumb on top for solar go-go energy, left thumb on top for lunar soothing energy).

  2. Inhale deeply and begin to “chop” with the hands as you chant HAR. Do this in 4 rounds: 12 chops to the left, then 12 chops center, then 12 chops to the right, and finally 12 chops back to center. Inhale deeply and begin these four rounds again. (This is a pretty hardcore breath pattern; please take breaths in between 12-chop sets as needed if you find yourself getting dizzy.)

  3. When the timer goes off: inhale and hold the breath, press the molars together, and continue the motion for one full cycle. Exhale and relax. Sit here for a minute or two in deep meditation.
